It manages alarms, events and automation through the Ajax system, with support for photo verification from compatible MotionCam detectors.

Understand What Triggered An Alarm

When a compatible photo-verification detector raises an alarm, its images can help users and monitoring teams assess the situation. Hub 2 is not itself a camera, and photo verification requires suitable detectors, system configuration and connectivity. Delivery time depends on the equipment, image settings and communication conditions.

Organise Security Across Your Property

Hub 2 supports up to 100 compatible Ajax devices, 50 users and nine security groups. Up to five compatible range extenders can help reach additional areas, subject to the overall device limit and installation conditions. Groups allow different areas of the property to be managed separately.

Ethernet And Cellular Communication

Ethernet and two SIM paths provide options for connecting the hub to Ajax Cloud. Hub 2 is available in different cellular versions, so confirm whether this unit is the 2G or 4G model before choosing a mobile service. SIM cards, mobile plans and monitoring arrangements should not be assumed to be included.

Dedicated Ajax Radio Protocols

Jeweller carries commands, alarms and events, while Wings supports photo verification. The stored specification lists open-space ranges of up to 2000 m for Jeweller and 1700 m for Wings, depending on the connected device. Buildings, obstacles and interference affect real-world performance, so signal testing is essential.

Manage The System Through Ajax Apps

Authorised users can manage security settings, review events and configure compatible devices through Ajax apps. Up to 32 automation scenarios support scheduled actions and responses to events. Functions such as switching lighting or shutting off water require suitable additional devices and configuration.

Supervision And Backup

Encrypted two-way communication, device authentication and tamper monitoring help identify interference and attempts to compromise the system. A built-in backup battery supports operation during a mains interruption, with actual duration depending on the unit, battery condition and operating circumstances. These safeguards do not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity or immunity to attack.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1076/1850/0947/files/square-image_1_201d4fbe-6ae1-403b-bf61-7cee92498774.jpg?v=1793621698
https://www.klikk.com.mt/products/ajax-hub-2-wireless-intelligent-control-panel-w-visual-alarm-verifications-white
