It helps installers reproduce a display's identification data when setting up systems with mixed displays, splitters, extenders or switches.

Copy Once, Reuse Across An Installation

Use the recorder's copy switch to capture a connected display's EDID information. The stored data can then overwrite the preset EDID on compatible Lindy emulators, reducing the need to repeat the capture process for each emulator.

Compatible Lindy Emulators

The recorder works with Lindy HDMI emulator 32104, VGA emulator 32121 and DVI emulator 32122. It is also listed as backwards compatible with earlier Lindy emulators 32101 and 32102. Check your emulator reference before purchase.

For Display Identification, Not Video Conversion

HDMI Type A, VGA and DVI-D female inputs provide connections for reading display information. This is an EDID programming tool, not an HDMI-to-VGA converter, video recorder or video-output adapter.

Compact Metal Housing

The black metal enclosure measures approximately 48 × 22 × 73 mm and weighs 0.234 kg.
