Service Centre

At Klikk, we value our customers every step of the way. That's why we offer a dedicated Service Centre to provide reliable after-sales support whenever you need it. If your product develops a fault or requires a repair, our experienced team is here to help and guide you through the process.

Our Service Centre is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm.

What can we repair?

Our Service Centre repairs a wide range of electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers, Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad and MacBook, smartwatches, headphones, speakers, gaming consoles, robot vacuum cleaners, and many other electronic products. If you're unsure whether we can repair your device, please contact our Contact Centre and our team will be happy to advise you.

We carry out both warranty and out-of-warranty repairs, depending on the product, brand, and the nature of the fault.

For more complex repairs, our experienced technicians also provide advanced board-level microsoldering services for laptops and MacBooks. This allows us to repair damaged logic boards and resolve hardware faults that may otherwise require a complete board replacement.

If your device has been exposed to liquid, we also offer a professional liquid damage cleaning service. Following a thorough inspection, our technicians carefully clean the internal components to remove corrosion and contamination caused by liquid ingress, helping to improve the chances of a successful repair.

Opening a Repair Request

Opening a Repair Request is the first step in arranging a repair or making a warranty claim. During this process, we will ask for your contact details, information about your device, and a description of the issue you are experiencing.

Providing as much detail as possible about the fault helps our technicians understand the problem before they begin their assessment. This can speed up the inspection process, help us determine whether the issue is covered under warranty, and ensure we recommend the most appropriate repair solution.

Once your device has been booked in, you will receive a unique Ticket Number. Please keep this number for future reference, as it allows us to quickly locate your repair or warranty claim whenever you contact our Service Centre.

We'll use your Ticket Number in all communications relating to your repair, whether by telephone, email, or in person. This helps ensure your enquiry is handled efficiently and that both you and our team are referring to the correct repair throughout the process.

What happens if my device is not covered under warranty?

If your device is found to have a fault that is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty, we will provide a detailed Warranty Report explaining the outcome of our assessment and the reason for the decision. Where possible, we may also include photographs to help you better understand our findings.

If a repair is possible, we will provide a quotation to restore your device. Depending on the fault, we may be able to replace individual components rather than the entire unit, helping to provide a more cost-effective repair solution.

Please note that repair options depend on the availability of replacement parts and the condition of the device. If parts are unavailable, discontinued, or the repair is not technically possible, we will advise you accordingly.

In some cases, further assessment may be required by the supplier or manufacturer before a final warranty decision can be made. Where this is necessary, we will arrange for the device to be inspected by the authorised service centre.

Common examples of faults that are usually not covered under warranty include:

  • Accidental damage, such as cracked screens, dents, or impact damage.
  • Liquid damage caused by water, beverages, or moisture.
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or unauthorised repairs.
  • Damage caused by external factors, such as power surges or environmental conditions.
  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage and natural battery degradation.
  • Devices outside the applicable warranty period.
  • Software modifications or unsupported changes that affect the device.
  • Missing or altered serial numbers that prevent warranty verification.
  • Accessories or consumable items excluded from the manufacturer's warranty.

How long does a repair take?

The repair process involves two main stages: inspection and repair.

1. Inspection
Once your device is received by our Service Centre, our technicians will carry out a full assessment to identify the fault and determine whether it is covered under warranty. In most cases, this inspection is completed within 2 working days.

2. Repair
The repair timeframe depends on the availability of any required replacement parts:

  • Parts in stock: Repairs are usually completed within 1 working day after the inspection is completed.
  • Parts available from European suppliers: Delivery typically takes 2 to 5 working days.
  • Special order parts: Some components may take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive.
  • Parts sourced directly from the manufacturer or overseas: In some cases, repairs may take approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

We always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible and will keep you updated if there are any delays or if additional parts are required.

How will I be contacted?

When your Repair Request is created, we will ask you to choose your preferred method of communication. You can receive updates by email, SMS, or telephone.

We will keep you informed throughout the repair process, including confirmation that your device has been received, repair updates, any quotations (if required), and notification when your device is ready for collection.

How do I collect my device?

When your Repair Request is created, you can choose your preferred collection location. For example, you may drop off your device at our Birkirkara outlet and collect it from our Żejtun outlet or directly from our Technical Department in Bulebel.

Once your repair has been completed, we will notify you when your device is ready for collection at your selected location.

If your chosen collection point is different from the location where you dropped off your device, please allow 1 to 2 working days for the transfer between locations, depending on when the transfer request is made.
