This configuration of the LCD assembly is manufactured by Apple or one of its licensed vendors, it is the exact same quality as the one found inside your phone already and includes features such as Retina display and Oleophobic fingerprint resistive coating. Due to security features within Apples hardware the Touch ID function will only work with your Apple home button, we sell these complete assembles minus the home button so we can use your existing Apple home button and retain the Touch ID feature, we only recommend a replacement of the home button if your not fussed about loosing the Touch ID feature or your current home button is damaged / faulty.
